Who says fishin’ aint cool?! Whoever said it just hasn’t REALLY experienced it! You can’t say ”fishin’ aint cool” if you have ever watched guys like Pete Maina, all of The Next Bite crew, John Gillespie, Brian Schram, Mark Zona, etc. These guys are a blast to watch, listen and learn from. Of course, there are a lot of the old school guys that I grew up watching on network television (didn’t have satellite then and no cable where I was at) that got me interested
in fishing. I subscribed to some fishing magazines and dreamed about becoming a good fisherman. My parents took me to Canada when I was in my early teens and I was hooked (no pun intended)! I have done a fair amount of black bass, striper, white bass and walleye fishing here in Southern Missouri and love it, but nothing compares to the annual trips that my family takes every year to Lake of the Woods in Ontario. A lot of my page over the next 3 months will highlight our experiences and what I have learned about “toothy criters” over the last few years. I hope you enjoy!
